Setting up your property with Oakholidays is straightforward with our one-time onboarding fee, which varies based on the property size, location, and availability. This fee covers a professional photo shoot, the creation of your online listing on various short-let platforms, and a visit from one of our staff members to ensure your home is equipped with all necessary amenities for hosting guests. The onboarding fee is deducted from your first month’s rental income rather than being charged upfront.

Tracking your rental income is easy with your personal Owner Dashboard. Accessible through a dedicated website, this dashboard provides real-time updates on your bookings, calendar, and revenue, giving you a clear overview of your property’s performance.

Oakholidays processes payments by default after each booking. If you opt to be paid monthly, payments will be processed by 15th of every month. This ensures that you receive your earnings in a timely and efficient manner.

We prioritize the safety of your property with strict processes for thoroughly vetting guests. Using a combination of technology and manual checks, we verify guests’ identities and ensure they have a good track record. Additionally, we provide 24/7 guest support to address any issues that may arise during their stay. With our comprehensive guest screening and safety measures, you can trust us to keep your property secure.

Despite our stringent guest vetting processes, we advise you to remove any valuable items from the property during the rental period to minimize risks. In the unlikely event of damage or theft, our issue resolution specialists will work with you, the platform, and the guests involved to recover the loss. If your booking was made through Airbnb, you are eligible for host guarantee coverage at no extra cost. Additionally, Oakholidays partners with a service provider to offer insurance for property owners.

The required documents to list your property with Oakholidays may vary by market, but it is crucial that your property complies with all local health and safety regulations, as well as any government rules. We recommend contacting your gas and electricity suppliers for a current safety inspection and confirming that all fire and carbon monoxide alarms are operational. This ensures you are providing a safe and comfortable environment for your guests.
